Small properties, lots of them
Nine out of ten of our Desert Hot Springs Locations had extinguisher work, and far fewer had sprinklers or an alarm panel. That is typical of a city where many buildings are small: a motel or inn with a few wings, a fourplex, a mobile home park office, a workshop or storage yard. On properties like these the portable extinguisher is often the only fire protection on site, so we make sure every unit is charged, tagged, the right type for the space and easy to reach.
The hotels and resorts on our list are a large share for a city this size, and we plan those visits around guests. For the public agencies and schools here, we keep records organized by building so an agency can answer an audit or inspection from a single report. Industrial and storage sites get the same care as anywhere else: units matched to the materials on hand and kept clear of stacked goods.
Inspections and records
Desert Hot Springs contracts with the Riverside County Fire Department for fire prevention. When an inspector visits, you should be able to show current extinguisher tags (NFPA 10), sprinkler records (NFPA 25), alarm test reports (NFPA 72) and a kitchen suppression tag (NFPA 96, UL 300 systems). CCR Title 19 sets the licensing and documentation for all of it, and we leave copies with you after each visit.
Common questions
Is Desert Hot Springs too far out for regular service?
No. It is on our regular routes, and we serviced 274 Locations here in the last twelve months.
We own a small motel with a few buildings. What do we need each year?
At minimum, every extinguisher inspected and tagged. If the property has sprinklers, an alarm panel or a kitchen, we add those and schedule them together.
Call and a technician will come out to service your property.
